沃拉沃拉大学 believes that insurance is extremely important for all students. All under研究生 和 研究生 students (including international students) must be covered by a health insurance plan. 学生 are responsible for obtaining 和 maintaining their health insurance. The College Place 健康诊所 is run by Columbia 健康 System, so be sure to check your health insurance plan to see if they are in-network providers, or consider other health insurance plans via the links below.

For international students
国际 students are required to have health 和 accident insurance. Purchasing health insurance for use in the United States can be overwhelming. 沃拉沃拉大学 encourages you to carefully review a policy before purchasing 和 to include medical evacuation 和 repatriation benefits.

Excess Student 意外保险
沃拉沃拉大学 covers all registered under研究生, 研究生, 和 doctoral students with excess accident insurance with a $5,000年的限制. 学生 injured while on a WWU campus, in campus-owned housing, or participating in off-campus University-sponsored activities (excluding intercollegiate athletic accidents) may complete a Non-Work-Related Accident/Incident Report form 和 A-G Excess Student Accident Claim Form 并提供给 风险 & 安全管理 for authorization prior to filing a claim 和 submitting to g管理员.
Intercollegiate Athletic 意外保险 - 沃拉沃拉大学 covers all intercollegiate athletes with accident insurance. 学生 injured while participating in the University intercollegiate sports program will work with the Athletic Trainer/Coach to complete the A-G Accident Claim Form found at the WWU 体育运动 website at http://uwolves.com/sports/2016/5/10/returning-athletes.aspx.
